Murmuration

5 part modular wall piece inspired by a murmuration of starlings.

This modular panel series was commissioned for a private enclosed swimming pool in Cambridgeshire UK.

The brief was to create an artwork for the wall over looking the pool which gets an abundance of directional sunlight from the skylight above. The rippling water reflections also interact with the installation to create a fluttering bird effect mirroring the concept of a murmuration of birds, flying over head.
