Chroma

Commissioned to design an artwork for the façade of the south facing stair tower of the hotel.

These glass fins interact with natural sunlight to create patterns of coloured light which change with the angle and intensity of the sunlight.  During the hours of darkness the artwork is animated by a number of powerful LEDs on a very subtle timed sequence.
